Topics in Linguistics

Call for papers: We are now collecting papers for 2015 volumes, preferably presented at 6th Nitra Conference on Discourse Studies 19-20 March 2015 (see CfP) 

Topics in Linguistics is an international scientific journal issued twice a year by Department of English and American Studies, Faculty of Arts, Constantine the Philosopher University in Nitra. The journal is dedicated to:

  • linguistics
  • intercultural communication
  • critical discourse analysis
  • pragmatics
  • sociolinguistics
  • comparative linguistics

It aims to foster interdisciplinary, cross-linguistic and cross-cultural approaches to language research. The journal seeks to publish high-quality original papers which adopt diverse theoretical and methodological perspectives in exploring a wide range of current issues in linguistic studies.

The journal is published electronically and in the printed form (on demand) in the English language.

Starting with Issue 13/2014, the journal is indexed in the following databases and it is published by De Gruyter Open.
